RETURNS

We hope you love your purchase! Should a product not meet your expectations, we will graciously accept returns of not damaged physical products within the required time-frame. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping fees. Return requests must be made in writing by email to vintage.desmoines@gmail.com or by text to 515-210-3386.

The the written return request and returned product(s) must be shipped with a tracking number and customer paid insurance, within 10 days of original tracked delivery. Returned products must be returned in the condition they were received to receive a full refund.

For purchases damaged during shipping: Multiple photos of the shipment box and damaged product from multiple angles will be required from the customer for products damaged during shipping to be provided to the shipping carrier. These photos would be emailed to vintage.desmoines@gmail.com or by text to 515-210-3386.

The box, packing materials and the item purchased must be kept by the customer during the claim process as the shipping company will require to see these as a part of discovery process. If this does not happen a refund may not be available. The shipping company such as USPS may reach out to you about the claim by mail.

When the damaged product is shipped back to us for a refund, we will require all pieces of the damaged product returned including any and all cracked or broken pieces available. Full refunds are processed promptly at the time the returned product is received and/or at the time the insurance claim is processed. We cannot be held responsible for short term holds placed on returned funds by a banking institution such as Stripe.

DIGITAL IMAGES:

We do not accept returns, exchanges or provide refunds for any digital images or similar products of a digital downloadable nature. We provide details in the product description about the type of format of file you are purchasing (ie. Tiff, Jpeg, PNG, etc). If you need the image in a different format than purchased, the image will need to be purchased again in that new format.

At Des Moines Vintage over our years of acquiring and selling antiques we have been in a unique position to house many scarce books, engravings, documents, paper items and more. We value these paper items and pieces of the past which may not sustain in the world forever and want to digitize these items from the 1800’s and before. We think these should be reasonably available to anyone as these beautiful pages were created by individuals from the past and edited by us.

These images are provided for purchase for public use such as prints, printed wall art in homes or businesses, mixed media art, printed scrapbooking or art projects, printed cards, post cards, or other digital uses.

Copyright and Intellectual Property Notice:

Des Moines Vintage will not be held liable to you or any other person or entity for any lost profits, litigation, punitive, indirect, consequential, incidental or other similar damages, costs or losses arising out of the purchase and/or use of these images. These images are believed to be without copyright or other intellectual property rights. Most images are from documents over 150 year old and the images have been personally modified and edited by Des Moines Vintage.
