Aesop’s Fables from the 18th Century presented in an armoral vellum binding. Copyright 1778 in Latin language. "Fabularum Aesopiarum, curante Petro Burmanno". The vellum cover is white with some light soiling. The gilt coat-of-arms is bright. There are two fragile brown ribbons on on the outer edge with two missing. There is a placeholder ribbon inserted on the back inside cover. The pages are white with areas of foxing. There is nice texture on the pages. There is one detailed black and white engraving and an index in the back. 9", 258 pages + index.
