Black Beauty, Late 19th Century Edition

Black Beauty by Anna Sewall. Published around 1890 by M A Donohue, Chicago. Illustrated in black and white throughout. The hinge is cracked at the endpapers making the cover feel somewhat fragile. The cover is a blue with charcoal gray undertones. There is discoloration along the cover edge and upper and lower backstrip. There is fraying and underboard exposed on the upper and lower backstrip. The cover leans forward slightly. There is an ex-libris sticker on the left endpaper. The pages are crisp and there is mild toning throughout. Some page fingerprints and other page imperfections are pictured. 247 pages, size: 7.65".
