A vintage opaline Murano style blue or turquoise rectangular jewelry box with a gold rim on the opening. The box is uniquely transparent. It is likely Murano, Italy without the sticker marking. It is a beautiful deep rich blue color. The lid edges are squared off. The gilt is very good. There are no chips, cracks or flea bites. There are some very tiny almost microscopic bubbles inside the lid. The hinge is good and holds the lid securely. Size: 5.25 W x 4 T x 3.5" D. Date of origin is unknown.
