Volume 1 (Premier): The cover and two title pages are detached (loose). There is paper missing on the backstrip and cracks in the paper (shabby). The paper on the upper right and upper left corner of the back cover bends upward. There is moderate foxing and tanning in the front-half of the book and occasional foxing after that. There is heavy foxing on the last few pages. 480 pages.
Volume 2: The cover is nearly loose and held on by a string of a couple inches. There are cracks and chipping in the backstrip paper. There is a moisture spot near the top of the title page. There are areas of light foxing throughout. The foxing is heavier near the back. 436 pages.
Volume IV: the cover has light soiling. There is paper missing on the upper backstrip. There is a dark brown spot on the very upper left corner of the back cover. There is an occasional light foxing spot. 416 pages.
