An antique miniature hand painted French portrait of a women, painted on a natural fabric style material. The painting is signed Dubois and is attributed to Frederic Dubois (1760-1822). The painting is lightly placed in the frame and held by metal brackets, but held well. The artist signature is on the right edge of the portrait. The frame has contrasting white and wood materials. There is a natural crack formed along the upper and lower front of the frame. The frame edges are white and all good. The hanging hardware for the frame is good. The gilded metal oval framing around the painting is good and it has a protective glass covering. Size: 5.75 x 4.85".
