Faience Ceramic Jardiniere Planter, 9”, France

A decorative antique hand painted Rouen planter or jardiniere from France. The planter sits on a separate gold stand and has a filigree gold upper rim. The planter has a French marking on the base with the Faience style painted art. There interior is white ceramic with a small hairline crack along the upper inside edge (pictured). The crack does not go through. There is a crackle in the glaze on the inside of the planter. There are no chips or cracks on the outside of the planter. The colors include. blue, red, yellow and green. Dimensions: 9 x 5.25 x 7" without the gold base. The gold base is 1 inch tall. *There is one additional matching planter currently available upon request.

Jardinière décorative ancienne de Rouen, peinte à la main, 
provenant de France. Elle repose sur un support doré séparé 
et présente un bord supérieur en filigrane doré. La base porte 
un marquage français, peint dans le style de la faïence. 
L'intérieur est en céramique blanche avec une fine fissure 
le long du bord intérieur supérieur (photo). La fissure n'est 
pas traversante. L'émail présente un craquelé à l'intérieur. 
L'extérieur ne présente ni éclat ni fissure. 
Couleurs : bleu, rouge, jaune et vert. 
Dimensions : 23 x 13 x 18 cm sans la base dorée. La base dorée 
mesure 2,5 cm de haut. *Une autre jardinière assortie est 
actuellement disponible sur demande.
