Floral Framed Oil Painting, 17.75", France

A beautiful floral still life oil painting in heavily gilded wood frame. Signed. The oil painting is on board and securely held in the frame with nails. The flowers are red, orange, white, purple, yellow. The flowers are in a tan pitcher or ewer. The background is a beautiful, rich dark green and dark brown. The frame around the painting is ridged upward with some bumped white areas. There is a rubbed or chipped area near the upper right corner (pictured). Frame dimensions: 17.75 x 15.75". Painting dimensions: 9 x 7". The date of origin is unknown. There is not hanging hardware installed on the back.

French Translation: 
Magnifique huile sur toile représentant une nature morte florale, 
encadrée dans un cadre en bois doré. Signée. L'huile est 
montée sur panneau et solidement fixée au cadre par des clous.
 Les fleurs sont rouges, orange, blanches, violettes et jaunes. 
Elles sont présentées dans un pichet ou une aiguière beige. 
Le fond est d'un beau vert foncé et brun foncé. 
Le cadre autour du tableau est strié vers le haut, 
avec quelques bosses blanches. Une zone frottée ou ébréchée 
est présente près du coin supérieur droit (photo). 
Dimensions du cadre : 45 x 40 cm. 
Dimensions du tableau : 23 x 18 cm. Date d'origine inconnue. 
Le matériel de suspension n'est plus présent.
