Held by Rebels, Decorative Floral Book

An antique book, Held by Rebels by Tom Bevan. Published around 1910 by Collins' Clear-Type Press, London (no date) in a scarce cover design. The cover is red with pink undertones and purple floral decoration. There is soiling along the cover edge, particularly along the upper cover edge and corner. The backstrip is very darkened with small tears in the cloth on the upper backstrip. The back cover is a matte shade of red. The endpapers are decorated with a blue fairy tale motif. There are color illustrations on the frontispiece and title page. There are at least three additional color illustrations. The pages are stiff and white throughout. Dimensions: 7.65 x 5.5". 192 pages.
