"Consisting of highly finished representations of hardy ornamental flowering plants, cultivated in Great Britain with their names, classes, orders, history, qualities, culture, and physiological observations. Profusely illustrated with hand colored illustrations of botanicals in four quadrants as shown. The flowers are numbered from No 193 to No 284. There is an ex-libris sticker on the left endpaper. The cover corners are lightly bumped. With underboard exposed on the upper right corner. There is some wear and rubbing on the marble cover board papers with a corner lifted up on the back cover. There are gilt floral decorations on the backstrip. There are light scratches on the backtrip leather. There is a tear in the gutter on the last page (pictured). There is a soil spot on at least one upper page edge (pictured).  The illustrations are all in good condition with beautiful detail as shown. The pages are crisp and mostly white throughout. There is foxing and soiling on the endpages and a signature on the second title page as pictured. Size: 8.5 x 7.25".
