The book has many black and white illustrations and map diagrams. The cover depicts water over rocks in black and white. The white areas are a beige or pale yellow. The backstrip and cover edges have a vintage look with some discoloration on the edges. There are some penned notations on the white endpapers. There is a small pen mark on the cover near the lower right corner. The pages are soft and white throughout. There is a very faint moisture stain on the upper corner of the last three pages of the index. Size: 9.5 x 6.25". 366 pages.
