An unframed oil painting on board depicting purple and white flowers in a brown vase. Signed, R. Kaslhke. The purple flowers vary in color from dark to medium and light lavender. The white flowers have areas of yellow undertones. The background is in shades of dark brown and tan with a gray base. There is a decorative border around the vase or pot with shading. The painting is signed on the lower right corner. There are pencil markings on the painting, possibly initial sketches by the artist. There are small areas of paint loss along the outside on all sides. There is paint missing on the lower right edge. There are divots in the paint on and around the signature. There are moisture areas on the backside of the board that does not have affected the painting. Size: 24.5 W x 19” T.
