A French cartonnage book, "Histoire de la Revolution de 1688 en Angleterre" by Theophile Menard. Troisieme Edition. {Title: The Historie of the Revolution of 1688 in England, third edition}. Copyright 1864. Published in Tours, France by Alfred Mame et Fils Editeurs. The cover is cartonnage board in a faded color of (salmon) pink. There is a gilt decorated ring in the center. There is a dent along the upper edge of the cover near the center. There is a dark spot on the backstrip near the bottom. There are several dark spots on the back cover (pictured). There is some moisture and possibly ink stain from the beginning of the book through page 59, including on the title page. The outer edge of the pages are gilded. The pages are crisp and the ink moisture stain returns in small areas throughout the book. There is a frontispiece illustrations. Dimensions: 8.65 x 5.35". 235 pages.
