Satsuma Vintage Vase with Dragon, 7"

A decorative vintage polychrome and porcelain Satsuma vase. The vase depicts a female, possibly a goddess, and a dragon. The vase is heavily gilded around the female with decorative borders on the top and bottom. Much of the paint is raised and textured. The gilt around the upper rim is good. The white glaze on the interior rim is lightly crackled. The inside is clean. The opposite side of the vase depicts the dragon's tail and clouds. There are characters on the base. Size: 7.5 x 5.5". Provenance: Japan.

女性（おそらく女神）と龍が描かれています。
女性の周囲には重厚な金箔が施され、
上下には装飾的な縁取りが施されています。
絵付けの多くは盛り上がり、質感があります。
上縁の金箔は良好です。
内縁の白釉には軽いひび割れが見られます。
内側はきれいです。
花瓶の反対側には龍の尾と雲が描かれています。
