The cover is a slightly darker shade of olive green than pictured. There is a soil spot over the 'H' in Household edition. There is discoloration along the outer edge of the cover cloth. The lower cover corner is crushed. There is discoloration and cloth fraying / chipping on the upper and lower backstrip. The back cover has reverse embossed decoration. There is a pencil signature on the right endpaper and a penned signature on a pre-title page. There is a very light soil spot on the title page. There is a section of pages that is misaligned and hanging loose by a thread (pictured). The illustrations have heavier tanning than the rest of the pages. Page 190-191 has a dark pen spot in the margin. The pages are soft and intact with mild to moderate tanning throughout. 499 pages, size: 7.75 x 5.25"
