Vintage Alice in Wonderland, Illustrated

Alice in Wonderland, Sunshine Series with color plates by Margaret W Tarrant. Published by Ward and Lock. No date, but possibly the 1930's. The outer edge of the cover is lightly bumped with under-board exposed on the corners. The title is visible on the backstrip cloth, but darkened. There is wear and chipping on the back cover paper. There is a penned message on the right endpaper dated 1931. There is moderate to heaving foxing throughout the book. There are occasional soil or fingerprint swipes. The color plates are good, but have some soiling or light foxing. The words at the bottom of some color plates were circled and those pencil markings were erased but some of it and the impression exists. Size: 10", 175 pages.
